The Portbyhan hotel is located quayside in the heart of the beautiful cornish fishing town of West Looe. West Looe is still a functioning fishing town and the hotels location provides guests with great views of hustle and bustle going on everyday in the picturesque harbour. The family run hotel has a reputation for being one of the most popular hotels in Looe purely through recommendations by guests who have stayed in the hotel




All the guest bedrooms in the hotel are en-suite, spacious, clean, comfortable and come with all the modern facilities guests expect such as Colour TV, Telephone and Radio. Many bedrooms have fantastic views of the harbour andor town. Portbyhan restaurant is situated to provide fantastic views across the quayside and prides itself on great food and great service, offering guests an Ala Carte menu

The Looe fish market is directly opposite the hotel restaurant on the opposite side of the river which means the chefs can prepare dishes such as Moules Mariniere or scallops with the freshest fish caught that morning. The hotel also offers a unique dining experience, the Stone Grill menu. Food served on this stone stays hot throughout the meal meaning your last bite is just as warm as the first and because of the unique nature of the stone, the juices are locked in the food making it extra delicious

With extensive menus, guests are spoilt for choice in the hotels restaurant. The hotel has a well stocked bar so guests can enjoy a tasty beverage or have a game of pool in the games room. Directions:
FROM A38 Turn right onto B3251 until you get to the B3252 then turn left onto the B3252. Approach the B3253 and turn right onto B3253 then take a left onto the A387 Station Road. Turn right to stay on A387 and go over the bridge then turn left onto Quay Road until you reach the Hotel.Guests driving to the hotel please note the hotel does not have onsite parking however we are able to offer our guests free car parking at the Mill Pool car park which is within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Please arrive at the hotel before going to the car park to collect vouchers and directions.
