Situated just off the M6 motorway and A66, Penrith is the ideal base for exploring the many different attractions of the English Lake District, Eden Valley and Hadrians Wall

Penrith is an ancient market town which offers an ideal base for visitors wishing to enjoy an overnight stay or perhaps longer in the beautiful Lake District or Eden valley. Penrith is only four miles from the nearest lake, Ullswater. The town itself has much to offer with a mix of both ancient and modern attractions, from the castle and beacon pike to modern shops

Opposite - One of the many shopping streets of Penrith, full of small interesting shops. Fellwalkers are welcome, we can offer advice for walking the LakeDistrict fells and can recommend walks to suit all abilities Climb high peaks, take a gentle stroll or drive around our picturesque Lakeland and the delightful Eden Valley. We can also recommend many stunning cycle routes around the Eden Valley and Lake District, we are also on the C2C cycle route

You can be sure of a warm welcome and comfortable stay at Penrith's Glendale Guest House. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Dogs allowed, an additional charge of ?5 per pet we can only allow a maximum of two pets
