Accommodation Description:
Featured on TV a couple of times and winner of a conservation award, this chapel conversion is often photographed. The guests lounge is awsom and the beds are really comfortable.

Yew Tree Chapel has been featured on Border T.V.'s programme 'Property matters' It will certainly be one of the most spectacular guest house's you will stay in. As a guest you will be able to relax in the lounge after a full day doing HADRIAN's WALL or after completing a section of THE PENNINE WAY or THE PENNINE CYCLEWAY. Yew Tree Chapel is much photographed and luxurious, but you are always made welcome no matter how muddy your boots or paws might be! We are right on THE PENNINE WAY and THE PENNINE CYCLWAY. ALSTON, BRAMPTON, and HADRIANS WALL are not too far away. Cyclists are welcome to store their bikes inside, and by arrangement we will accept your dog too. 4 Miles from ALSTON, 9 miles from HADRIAN's WALL Slaggyford is situated in Tynedale, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. In our garden our regular visitors include all the finches you can think of, robins and wrens, a woodpecker and and a cock pheasant. Nearby you can see the buzzards, lapwings and curlews. A short walk away is the South Tyne where you can get a day ticket to fish the salmon and trout if the herons don't beat you to it! If you are patient you may see red squirrels and deer in the woods. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Dogs allowed, may incur additional charge. Check-In time: 1600 and Check-Out time: 1000.
