Welcome to Lynebank Hotel and Restaurant. We are situated 3 minutes from J44 M6 on the A7 Edinburgh, Hawick and Galashields scenic route. A former 17th Century Staging Post offering 12 well decorated rooms, all en-suite with digital TV and WiFi access

The storage of bicycles and sports equipment is available along with drying room facilities. Bar and Restaurant open seven day a week offering a la carte and bar menus using fresh local produce and is renowned for its quality local Galloway beef steaks. Set near to the Lake District and close to the Scottish Border

Its an ideal base for tours to southern Lakes visiting Windermere, Beatrix Potter, Hill Top Farm, Wordsworths home, Hadrian's Wall, Keswick and Arthuret (the land where King Arthur and Merlin roamed). Also Longtown and Brampton with its traditional farmers markets and river walks and the Scottish Border towns of Gretna Green, Annan, Langholm and the Solway coast. All within 35 minutes of LyneBank House Hotel Carlisle
