Accommodation Description:
Over 400 years old Rose Cottage retains many of the original features. Located in the heart of Bowness and just a minutes walk from Lake Windermere Rose Cottage offers the convenience of having Bowness many attractions, bars and restaurants on its doorstep whilst the beautiful Lake District scenery is within easy walking distance. Our guesthouse has 5 rooms, all en-suite with a walk in shower

We have 3 double rooms and 2 family rooms which sleep 3 people although we do have a z-bed and a travel cot (for a small fee) if required. All rooms offer complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, a trouser press and LCD satellite tv. We offer a good hearty breakfast which is served in our beautiful dining room at the convenient time of 8

30am - 9.30 am. Please note that although we strive to make your visit as relaxed as possible Bowness can be very lively especially at weekends

Directions:
exit Junc 36 on the M6 motorway joining A591 towards Windermere. At Windermere follow signposts for the lake at Costa Coffee turn right and Rose Cottage is located at the side of St Martins church. If arriving by train get the 599 bus outside Windermere train station or one of the many taxi's parked. The bus will let you off at Rumours restaraunt and Rose Cottage is located just opposite at the side of the church.
