Located half a mile from the A595, West Woodside House is in a quiet, rural location ideal for touring West Cumbria Lakes or the Solway Coast. Ensuite bed and breakfast accommodation is offered in a 17th century traditional Cumbrian long house. Please note we do not accept credit cards as final payment

Ideally situated only five minutes from Wigton with its traditional shops and open-air market, yet ten minutes from the historic City of Carlisle with The Lanes Shopping Centre and most major high street shops. We serve excellent breakfasts in the traditional oak beamed dining room, with our own fresh free range eggs available

Directions:
From Carlisle take the A595 heading towards Cockermouth. Go across Thursby roundabout continuing on A595. Go past Michael King Jewellers on left hand side - just after this take the turning on the right signposted Wigton 3 miles. West Woodside House is just under half a mile on the right hand side. A black and white sign is on the gate.From the M6 come off at Junction 41. Take the B5305 to Wigton. Continue along this road for 17 miles. At the end of this road turn right on to the A595 heading towards Carlisle. Approximately two miles along this road take the turning on the left signposted Wigton 3 miles. West Woodside House is just under half a mile on the right hand side. A black and white sign is on the gate.
