Elterwater, the most glorious of Lakeland Villages with a local pub and of course its own Lake.
The Eltermere was built in 1756 and overlooks Lake Elterwater an area of fantastic natural beauty at the foot of the Langdale Valley.
Some of the very best walking is from our doorstep, gentle or challenging, including the Langdale Pikes, take your pick!
Within a few minutes walk is the Langdale Country Leisure Club, with Swimming Pool, Gym, Squash and Beauty Salon.
We can, upon request, obtain a Free Leisure Pass, please bring your own towels.
Please note there is a Minimum Stay of 2 Nights at all times.
THE HOTEL IS NON-SMOKING THROUGHOUT.
Last Check-in time is 9.00pm.
The hotel has its own Restaurant serving dinner at 7.00pm with a 5 course menu which changes daily, using only the finest of fresh ingredients, available at a price of only £25.00.
Very interesting selection of wines and we keep Real ales.
Complimentary fresh coffee and teas available all day.
We are able to advise you on all the best walks and guide you to many places of interest.
We have masses of parking and you are more than welcome to arrive at midday and leave your car and go for a walk!
