Directions
How to find The Mortal Man. From the South, depart Junction 36 of the M6, take the A591 to Windermere, turning right onto the A592. After 2.5 miles turn left at the Troutbeck sign, then right at the T-Junction. The Mortal Man is about 800 yards on the right. From the North, depart Junction 40, take the A66 west towards Keswick, turning left after 1 mile onto the A592. Follow the road alongside Ullswater, and over Kirkstone Pass. At the base of the Valley, turn right at The Mortal Man directional sign. The Mortal Man is situated about 400 yards on the left.
