Standing in secluded gardens in the peaceful and attractive village of Stainton, we are only 3 miles from Ullswater, less than a mile from Junction 40 of the M6 and only a couple of minutes from the A66 which links the beautiful Northern Lakes of Ullswater, Derwentwater, Buttermere, Crummock Water, Bassenthwaite and others. A warm welcome awaits you in the oak beamed bar and dining room In the main bar area an extensive menu is available all year round offering hot fare or sandwiches and other snacks. The Restaurant offers friendly service, freshly prepared foods from an extensive menu, mostly featuring local produce, and a good selection of wines. The 7 bedrooms are all en-suite with shower, and equipped with colour television, radio, tea/coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone There is a large secure car park at the rear of the hotel.We can provide full facilities and catering for all functions, special events and parties, from weddings to conferences, and private meeting rooms are available.
