Only 5 miles from M6 junction 40. Proceed along A66 to the next roundabout signposted A592 to Ullswater. After about 4 miles you reach the lake. Turn right at this T junction and continue for about 1 mile along lake shore. Rampsbeck is signposted, set down from road on the left hand side
