The Cumberland Hotel offers facilities to suit you, whatever your reason for visiting Alston Moor.
All of our bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and our five bedrooms can accommodate up to fourteen guests at a time, making us ideal for families and group bookingsWe also pride ourselves on the quality of our food.
Our fully equipped kitchen enables us to produces fresh and attractive meals made from fresh ingredients.
Meals are served in our restaurant, or the lounge bar.
Parties can be catered for with advanced notice, with a full meal for up to 30 people, or a Buffet for up to 80, Ideal for parties or special occasions.
We are happy to accommodate special dietsThe Cumberland Hotel a licensed bar, serving the full range of drinks.
4 Cask conditioned ales are always available, and a wide variety of wine are also on offer.The Hotel also has a patio area for unwinding on those long summer evenings as the sun sets over the valley.We have car parking facilities, and can also securely store cycles overnight.
We have arrangements for the drying of wet clothing, but most of all we offer a warm welcome a the end of a busy dayPets are welcome.

From North-East, take A69 west past Hexham. Bear left before Haydon Bridge on A686 to Alston. 20 miles. Drive into Alston. Cumberland is on your right past cobbled Front Street. From Scotland, take A69 East at Carlisle. Turn right at Brampton roundabout to follow A69, 1 mile, turn right onto A689 to Alston, 20 miles. Turn left at T junction onto A686, over Bridge. Cumberland is on your Left
