A choice of five double en-suite bedrooms is available, two having four poster beds and two with views towards Lake Windermere and the fells in the distance. All the guest rooms are centrally heated, have hospitality trays, colour television, a hair dryer, shaving points, ironing facilities and en-suite shower rooms with W. C

Our guest house is within easy walking distance of all the amenities Bowness has to offer; from restaurants to cinema, shops to pubs and not forgetting Lake Windermere itself (a 5 minute or so stroll). Free parking for up to five cars is also available.

Travelling by train - Nearest railway station is Windermere. There is a taxi rank outside the railaway station. We are 1 mile from the railway station.Travelling by road from North Cumbria Scotland and North-east England1). Leave the M6 at junction 37 and join the A684 signposted Kendal.2). On entering Kendal follow signposts for Windermere - A591.3). On entering Windermere turn left onto High Street signposted Windermere Town Centre.4). Continue along this road for approx. 1 mile.Hazeldene Guest House is on the right. (If you pass the cinema you are150 metres too far along the road). To get to our private car park take the lane 20 metres after the guest house entrance on the right. About 30 metres along the lane turn left going down a short bank. The car park is on the right hand side. Please park your car in a marked bay.Travelling by road from Yorkshire Lancashire and all points south.1). Leave the M6 at junction 36 and join the A590 signposted Kendal Barrow.2). At roundabout take the A591 signposted Windermere.3). On entering Windermere turn left onto High Street signposted Windermere Town Centre.4). Continue along this road for approx. 1 mile.Hazeldene Guest House is on the right.
