River Forge accommodation consists of two suites, the first one a double (the River Room), and the second one a twin (the Garden Room), both have their own entrances, en suite shower rooms, television, tea and coffee making facilities, and are beautifully decorated.
Formerly a Blacksmiths shop and forge, circa 1602, River Forge has been tastefully restored to provide character and warmth, with all modern amenities yet still preserving original features.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team Paul and Kathy Robson, and located in Carleton, 10 minutes from Carlisle City Centre and 2 minutes from Junction 42 of the M6, the convenience of it's situation belies the tranquility that you will find at River Forge.
With the River Petterill running through it's grounds, this stunning country house has views to the open countryside together with the relaxing sounds of the river.
