Accommodation Description:
Orton Hall is a superb Jacobean Mansion built in 1662 standing in 7 acres of its own mature parkland.

We have 3 suites, each with its own unique charm.

All guests have full use of the grounds and the Great Hall, with its grand piano, snooker table, fireplace and spectacular views across the grounds.

Guests of all 3 of our suites have FREE membership to the fantastic North Lakes Spa & Gym in nearby Penrith.

THE ROYALIST SUITE radiates the charm of Orton Hall with its period decor and traditional furnishings.

Located on the ground floor, Royalist features an oak panelled sitting and dining room with period fireplace and views across the front gardens and pond.

A a€˜secret doora€™ leads to an en-suite bedroom with king-size bed and fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

There is a TV and video player and a complimentary film and book library for your use.THE DUKE OF CLARENDON SUITE is situated on the first floor, with views across the front gardens.

The bright airy sitting room has a TV, DVD player, video player, CD player and a selection of videos.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need for an enjoyable self-catering holiday.

The spacious double bedroom has window shutters to keep out even the most persistent sunshine!

The bathroom has a turbo spa bath, perfect for relaxing after a long walk on the Cumbrian fellsa€¦THE ROCHESTER WING is a large, 2 bedroom suite to the rear of the hall.

Boasting spectacular views across the gardens and parkland, the open plan living/ dining area is spacious and features traditional wood panelling, oozing the character of Orton Hall.

There is a TV, DVD, CD player, and a library of films, dining seating for 6 and original stone mullioned windows.

The master bedroom has an impressive new king size 4-poster bed; the twin bedroom has single beds which can be pushed together if required; and the brand new refurbished bathroom has a turbo spa bath with shower and modern fittings.

Bedding and towels are provided and a washing machine/dryer is available.

Night storage heating is included and electricity is metered.

There is secure parking in the grounds.

Orton Hall benefits from an ideal location as The Lakes, Yorkshire Dales and Eden Valley are all only 20 minutes drive through some of the most picturesque countryside in England.

Golf, fishing, riding, tennis, walking and watersports are all available locally.

Orton village features an inn, tea rooms, village shop and the renowned Kennedy's Chocolate Factory.

Orton is reached from junctions 38 and 39 of the M6.
