A friendly family run late Victorian Country House with many retained original features. Our southfacing aspect can be enjoyed as the sun shines through the stained glass vesibule creating a warm and welcoming ambience. With glorious views of Ullock Pike and Skiddaw our comfortable rooms overlook Sale Fell and Wythop Woods opposite

Our home is surrounded by open countryside and well kept gardens with patio furniture available. Our private access to the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake is a haven for wildlife not to be missed.Wake up to a hearty Cumberland breakfast made with finest local produce including free range eggs, which will set you up for the day - this is the perfect base for touring, cycling and walking

Visit in spring when the nesting Osprey returns, when daffodils cover the garden and when our own new born lambs gambol in the fields.Also walk on our grazing wet land board walk (1.5 km )and see the wet land birds in a natural habitat

Private off road parking, cycle storage, drying facilities and licensed conservatory bar.We are also on a public bus route which runs from Penrith to Cockermouth.

Directions:
From Junction 40 on M6 take the A66 west towards Keswick. Continue past Keswick on the A66 to the northern end of Bassenthwaite Lake 400 metres after the dual carriageway ends take a right turn (signposted Castle Inn Dubwath). FOLLOW THE ROAD ROUND TO THE LEFT and Link House is at the top of the hill on your right.
