Lake House and Hideaway Cottage are situated overlooking Windermere at Waterhead Bay, Lake House offers visitors a quality hotel environment but with a relaxed style. The Hotel is centrally placed ideal for exploring the whole area. Lake house has various styles and sizes of accommodation to suit every need, all rooms are en-suite and have flat screen t

v, DVD player and music system and tea and coffee facilities. Some rooms have a lake view at a supplement. Guests staying at Lake House have the use of the pool and restaurant (evening meals)at our sister hotel, The Regent which is just 400yards away

Traditional Lakeland breakfast is served in the dining room with an array of continental breads, cereals, smoked fish and fruit with wonderful lake and mountain views. Full English is set out for you to help yourself and there are trays for you to take it all up to your room if you so wish - breakfast in bed do it yourself style!! Across the road from the Lake House is the boating jetty from which you can take a steamer to Bowness-on-Windermere and around the Lake. The centre of Ambleside is a five minute walk or so into town

Please note this hotel is completely non-smoking. If guests smoke in the bedrooms a charge of up to 1 night accommodation may apply.Tucked away behind Lake House is Hideaway Cottage, where guests can get the best of both worlds, the room, privacy and freedom of a self-catering cottage, along with the complimentary facilities of The Regent, just down the drive such as our indoor heated pool and hearty Lakeland breakfasts

On the Ground floor there is a large entrance hall with ample space for walking boots, shoes and all outdoor equipment. Four furnished bedrooms, including a master bedroom featuring a large picture window overlooking the lake. Newly fitted bathroom with sink, WC, bath and shower

On the first floor there is a large open plan dining room and superbly equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker and microwave. Then a few steps leading to a large lounge with Sky TV, log-effect fire and picturesque lake views. The cottage will be serviced daily leaving guests free to enjoy their stay

Set above Lake Windermere at Waterhead Bay with panoramic views across the water to the fells beyond, our detached traditional Lakeland stone barn is fully equipped for the most relaxed, easy-life holiday. Lake steamers leave from the pier at Waterhead Bay for a spectacular cruise of Englands favourite picnic spot is just a ten-minute stroll.
