Guests will be very comfortable in the beautiful garden, which has been designed to blend beautifully with the surrounding countryside

The vibrant, relaxing and comfortable ensuite rooms will allow guests to truly enjoy all that a traditional relaxing countryside break is all about, as well as enjoying and taking in some of the local activities in and around the local villages. For golfers there are 13 varied courses within a six mile radius of the Pack Horse, whilst New Mills has a leisure centre with squash courts and a swimming pool, which, if you fancy a dip, has remarkably warm water. If you're still not sure what you want to do here, pay New Mills Heritage Centre a visit, as it is jam-packed with leaflets containing information on the hundreds of things to see and do nearby. There are several places of historic and literary interest within easy reach including Chatsworth House, Lyme Hall, Haddon Hall and the town of Knutsford

New Mills Bus Station|Bus|2|The bus station is situated on the mini roundabout in the town centre. Follow the road directions from New Mills town centre. New Mills Central Station|Train|2|Head up into the centre of New Mills and follow the directions from the mini roundabout. New Mills New Town Station|Train|2.5|New Mills Newtown is situated near the A6 junction. Please follow the road directions through New Mills town centre. A6 Newtown|Road|2|Turn off the A6 Buxton to Manchester Road at Newtown signposted for New Mills (opposite the Swan Inn). At traffic lights (Queens Arms) turn left up the hill. At top of hill, mini roundabout, bear right through town centre passing town hall on your left, continue along Spring Bank Road. Turn left opposite White Hart Pub up Mellor road signposted 'Mellor'. We are situated in the open countryside about a mile up Mellor Road on the left.
