Bramble Cottage, Higham

Accommodation Description:
Charming Elizabethan Grade 2 Listed Cottage that has been sympathetically refurbished to enhance the wonderful character and many historical beams. Guest satisfaction is paramount, and a warm welcome is assured. Lunch and dinner served daily at the pub next door and for that special occasion fine dining is offered at the Country House Hotel only a few minutes stroll away through the pretty village

Breakfast is normally served between 08:00 and 09:00 (unless a different time is arranged) and is prepared from the finest ingredients, locally sourced where ever possible, apart from award winning black pudding (Stornoway) and the smoked salmon for the mouth water scrambled eggs and smoked salmon which comes from South Uist both products are sourced from the Outer Hebrides.. Should you have particular dietary needs, please advise us and we will do our best to cater for them

PLEASE NOTE THE CHECK IN TIME IS BETWEEN 1700 AND 1900 UNLESS BY PRIOR ARANGEMENTIf you are celebrating a special occasion we are happy, by prior arrangement, to provide champagne and chocolates to complete your luxurious experience.For business travellers we offer the facility of the large dining room for meetings (the table seats 10) during the day, we would be pleased to offer tea and coffee, again prior arrangement is required please. We have a lovely garden patio area with gas BBQ which guests are welcome to use ( weather permitting )

Directions:
Proceed south out of Chersterfield on the A61 through Clay Cross and Stretton. On entering Higham the Greyhound Pub is on the left hand side Bramble Cottage is next door to the pub on the same side of the road Well Lane runs between the two properties. OR if proceeding from Alfreton in a northerly directions again take the A61 towards Chesterfield through Shirland as you enter Higham the road bends hard to the right Brtamble Cottage is on the right hand side about 25yards after the bend. Again we are next door to the Greyhound with Well Lane between us.
