Buckingham's Award Winning Hotel is the gateway to the Peak District National Park and Chatsworth House plus many more attractions.

Originally a pair of Victorian semi-detached houses that have been sympathetically converted into this attractive, comfortable and relaxed hotel in Newbold, a residential area of Chesterfield.

Nick and Tina Buckingham are well known for their warm and friendly hotel, which specialises in superlative food.

The hotel's modern facilities are combined with an attention to detail and quality of service.

The homely hotel bedrooms are full of those little personal touches that you would expect.

All ten bedrooms are well appointed and cater for guests travelling either on business or for pleasure.

We have focused on increasing the space and quality of the bedrooms.

Each Bedroom boasts many facilities such as colour TV with teletext, tea/coffee making facilities, stationary set, complementary water and mints, direct dial telephone, individual controlled central heating, accessible computer modem points, clock radio, Wi-fi, hairdryer, DVD player, electric fan.

Buckingham's is well known for the Restaurant with One Table, The Restaurant With One Table is unique as it has no menus; it means we can prepare your meal to your personal requirements with the emphasis on quality and freshness.

All we need to know is your dislikes, allergies or dietary requirements, be it low fat, wheat intolerance, vegetarian, diabetic or you just dona??t like mushrooms.

There is a choice of four menu levelsa?¦.

Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

It is important to note that the level of menu does not reflect the quality of cooking and merely the variation of the ingredients and occasionally the degree of technical expertise required in preparation.

I will create a meal that will be unique to you and your guests.

The best meals are the ones I create on the night, making the most of the market that day.

Direction to Buckingham?s from M1 J29: On leaving M1 at J29, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout onto the A617 Chesterfield. At next roundabout take the 2nd exit and go 400 yards (Home base) to another roundabout and take your 2nd exit. (Kiwk Fit) Follow the road to the town centre. (Roundabout with car park in centre)At traffic light (Eyres) get into the right hand lane follow road round and at the next traffic lights move to left-hand lane by the Multi-Storey car park follow road round to mini roundabout. (Jet Petrol Station) Take the 1st exit sign posted Barlow (B6051). Buckingham?s is 800 yards along this road on your right, just after the zebra crossing Direction to Buckingham?s from Manchester: Follow the A619 to Chesterfield until you come to a roundabout (B&Q on your right)At the Roundabout take you 1st exit (Foljambe Road) Follow the road straight on to traffic light. At Traffic lights go straight ahead (Passing the side entrance of Chesterfield Football Ground) Follow road to T-junction (One Way Street)At the T-junction move into your right hand lane and turn right and immediately move into the left hand lane (Cross Street) Follow the road turning onto Queens Street (3rd road on your left) At the end of the Queens Street turn left.
