East Woodlands Farmhouse provides excellent guest house accommodation in a beautiful location in the peaceful North Devon countryside. A 16th century farmhouse it provides a wonderful setting for a relaxing stay in the stunning North Devon countryside. Situated close to Barnstaple, Torrington and Bideford, the farmhouse is a magnificent location from which to visit many gardens in the area, including the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor, Tapeley Park and Marwood Gardens. Also within easy reach are Docton Mill, Clovelly, the Tarka Trail, Dartingon Glass, Torrington 1646 and Saunton Sands and many costal walks. The farmhouse was built in the 16th Century. Traditionally built, it retains many of its original features including Inglenook fireplaces, a bread oven, creamery and panelled stairwayand provides a fascinating insight into bygone architecture and building methods. Guests have exclusive use of a well appointed guest lounge which boast an inglenook, beamed ceilings and entertainment facilities. The large sculptured garden has been interestingly planted and supports a number of great secluded places to sit and relax whilst enjoying the sunshine and extensive views across unspoilt Devon countryside. Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Regrettably we can't accommodate children under 12. Check-In time: 16:00 and Check-Out time: 10:00.
