Westaway is a Five Star Silver Award guesthouse situated in the centre of town. An ornamental double stairway winds upwards, past a large stained glass window, to the guestrooms. Westaway has a Licensed lounge bar with a fireplace, wood floors, leather furnishings and a wide-screen digital television. The guesthouse stands in a half-acre of gardens and features barbecue and surfboard cleaning facilities.
Westaway is ideally situated in the centre of town, next door to the historic Tunnels Beaches. The picturesque harbour area featuring pubs, restaurants (Damien Hirst restaurant), souvenir shops and boat tours, is approximately 500 metres away and can be easily reached on foot via a level walkway. The Landmark Centre, which hosts regular theatre and live music events, is a 200 metre walk away. Ilfracombe high street is around 100 metres from the guesthouse. Exmoor can be reached in about 15 minutes, Woolacombe is 8 miles and Croyde 10 miles.
A complimentary cooked breakfast is served between 8 and 11 am in the east facing dining room, which extends to a conservatory overlooking a Mediterranean style sun terrace. There is ample FREE parking and Free WiFi Internet access throughout.
