Four star accredited Yeo's farmhouse is a 16th Century Devon longhouse nestling in its own 241 acres, situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by wonderful scenery. The farmhouse is believed to be early 16th Century, with rooms added on during the next 200-300 years. In the roof, some of the timbers are large branches still with the bark on

The farmhouse has been extensively modernised to the highest standards with guests? own entrance and stairs. Until recently it was a dairy farm but is now predominantly beef and arable, with hand-reared calves, and beef cattle with suckler herd. The farm was once part of the Haldon Estate, some 12000 acres, belonging to the Palk family

This is a great place to explore Devon and Exeter Cathedral City (2.5 miles). We are ideally located for beautiful Devon beaches and Dartmoor (4 miles) is on our doorstep

Exeter International Airport is about 20 minutes away. On site there is a small fishing lake and there is a livery for anyone wishing to bring their own horse. On site we have ample free parking available

We welcome walkers and cyclists and can offer wash down and secure storage for bikes. Whatever your reason to visit, we will try to ensure that your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.

The breakfast room has wonderfull views up to the Haldon Forest, with the Lawrence Castle taking center stage. In summer breakfast can be served on the lawn. All produce is sourced locally and cooked freshly each morning.

Directions:
A30 North|Road|3|Driving up from Oakhampton, leave A30 at the first Exeter/Marsh Barton exit. At roundabout take last exit to Ide. Drive 1/2 mile, turn left into Ide, up through village and continue into the countryside for 2 miles. When you see "Dunchideock - please drive carefully" sign on a cob wall, turn left immediately in front of this sign. Continue 1/2 mile and Yeos farm is on your right down a short lane. Exeter Racecourse|Road|3|Leave racecourse, bearing left. Continue for 2 miles, through the forest, then down a long steep hill into Dunchideock, continue to the bottom of the hill, over stone bridge, and as you start to climb, look out for a small turning to your right, signposted Clapham. Take this, it follows a high cob wall. Continue for 1/2 mile and the farm is on your right, down a lane. M5 Heading South|Road|3|Stay on M5 heading south to Plymouth. It becomes the A38. Leave the A38 at Kennford Services.You are now about 2 1/2 miles away. Turn immediately left into Kennford village. Continue through Kennford, past bicycle shop, past farm shop towards Clapham (1 1/2 miles) In Clapham take 2nd left on a sharp right hand bend, signposted "Clapham/Dunchideock" (picket fence, white cottages,road narrow sign) continue 1/2 mile, past Yeos Bungalow, the farm is the next turning on your right, down a short lane. Exeter Airport|Air|12|Take A30 towards Exeter. Take M5 South to Plymouth. M5 becomes A38. Leave A38 at Kennford services and use the road directions.
