Newton House B&B is an attractive, well presented, detached Tudor-style house, in a quiet residential area of Torquay. It is situated on the main Newton Road, opposite the Torre railway station. Newton House has 1 Superior and 8 Luxury En-suite guest bedrooms, each with their own character

Newton House makes guests to feel 'at home' right away. Guests can relax and enjoy the Lounge, which provides a peaceful place for reading, or for friends and family to quietly chat. There is a separate Dining Room to attract you, with many interesting ornaments and pictures

To the front of Newton House are the beautiful Garden Terrace and Car Park. The Garden is popular with guests for its array of flowers, shrubs, fruits, vegetables, table/chairs/ parasol and Torbay Palm Trees. Nearby are Shops, Town Centre, Beaches, Golfing, Gardens, Torbay Hospital and all amenities

There are many attractions in and around Torbay. Newton House avoids the noise and bustle of the town centre but is sufficiently near, to be convenient for shopping, dining, entertainments, etc. Broadband Internet and 24-hour recorded CCTV security make for convenience and safety for all

A large private car park is available to our guests. Children (all ages) are welcome. In recognition of its superior facilities, decor, cleanliness and high standards, the AA has awarded Newton House the rating of 4 STARS

PLEASE NOTE: Strictly No Smoking indoors (permitted outside on the Terrace). Pets are NOT permitted on the premises.

Breakfast is served in the Guests' Dining Room. This bright room is pleasantly decorated with many ornaments and pictures on display, for your enjoyment. Tables are set with the Guests' room numbers and breakfast menus are available. There is a self-service side table with cereals, orange juice, milk, grapefruit, fresh fruits, butter etc. Coffee/tea, toast and the full English cooked breakfast is served at your table. (Continental or fish or vegetarian alternatives are available by request)

Torquay Harbour, Brixham, Dartmouth and Anywhere|Boat|1|The Torquay Quay and Marina is in the centre of the town, one mile from Newton House. Ferries from Brixham and Dartmouth also dock there. Local bus or taxi transport can reach Newton House in about 5 minutes. Our car park has space for parking of vessels up to about 30 feet, at certain times of the year. (Best to check on this when booking). EXETER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT|Air|22|From Exeter Airport, take a bus or taxi to the Exeter Bus Station. There catch a Stagecoach Express Bus (number X46) to Torquay, which stops outside Newton House B&B. OR From Exeter Airport, take a bus or taxi to the Exeter St David's Railway Station and take a train to TORRE Railway Station, which is almost directly opposite Newton House, 1 minute from our door. TORRE Railway Station|Train|0|Trains from London and all large cities reach Torquay via Exeter. Trains to Torquay from Exeter St David's Station travel via the scenic coastal route through Dawlish, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot. Most stop at TORRE Railway Station which is almost directly opposite Newton House, ONE MINUTE from our door. If your train stops at Torquay Main Station only, then a 2 minute taxi ride (or 10 minute walk) gets you to Newton House. EXETER|Coach|20|National Express Coaches run from London and large cities all over UK to Torquay Bus Station (Lymington Road). The Torquay Bus Station is 7 minutes walk from Newton House or 1 minute by taxi. Exeter and all points North, East and West|Road|20|Exit M5 at Exeter onto A380 to Torquay. Travel 15 miles to Penn Inn Roundabout. Take the second exit A380, through Kingskerswell. After Kingskerswell, at a roundabout with " English Riviera" written in flowers on the left, go straight ahead on "Riviera Way" A3022 (dual carriageway) for another mile or so. From here you cross 6 sets of traffic lights altogether. At the 6th set you see "Halfords" sign ahead on the right. Filter left at the 6th set. Newton House is 40yds past the lights on the LEFT
