Avondale B&B is family run; the house was built at the turn of the century, and the three rooms are comfortably furnished for B&B. In Town centre only a short walk from the Market Square and River Front. It is in a quiet area with lovely views over the town, River and Countryside

Please Note: Non-smoking. No pets permitted on the premises. All Children are Welcome

Un-restricted on street parking nearby, plus we can normally find you a space on arrival if not most of the year plenty of parkingr 600meters further up the road from the B&B.

Directions:
Totnes|Bus|13|Bus 111 runs to Dartmouth ask to be put off at the Bowling Green, Vicarage Hill is just behind the green/childrens play area Totnes & Paington|Train|13|Main line train to Paignton and Stream train Dartmouth/Kingswear and ferry across the River Dart. We will try & collect you from the ferry. Main line train to Totnes & River Boat the last ten miles to Dartmouth. We will try to collect you from the boat. M5/A303 - Exeter|Road|30|Directions: If you are driving and coming down the M5/A303/ or from the Exeter direction we seriously recommend that you take the A38 towards Plymouth, (the M5 turns into the A38 near Exeter) and do not take the Torquay/Paignton road, it takes longer and you have to get the ferry across the river to Dartmouth, which can have a wait of up to an hour at peak times. Take the A38 towards Plymouth, at Buckfastleigh turn off the A38. Take the A384 it is sign posted to Totnes and then on to Dartmouth
