Squires Guest House prides itself on providing first class accommodation and quality breakfast and endeavour to make your stay relaxing, comfortable and very enjoyable. Squires is situated in a quiet secluded square on Plymouth Hoe and within easy walking distance of the Promenade, The Barbican, City Centre, Plymouth Pavilions, Theatre Royal, National Aquarium and Brittany Ferry Port. We are also only a few minutes from Plymouth Rail and Bus Stations.

At Squires you are within a short stroll of the famous Plymouth Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake is said to have finsihed his game of bowls before setting sail to confront the Spanish Armada. Walk across the Hoe and along the promenade in front of the Royal Citadel and soon you reach the Mayflower Steps, from where the Pilgrim Fathers finally left our shores to found their new lives in America. You are now in the old Barbican area, with its narrow streets, art galleries, pubs and restaurants.

Plymouth is a major centre for the South West and has many other attractions, including a brand new Shopping Centre, the Theatre Royal, the National Marine Aquarium and Plymouth Pavilions. It is also of course within easy reach of the beaches of Devon and Cornwall, the Eden Project, Dartmoor, the South Hams and Torbay.
