Welcome to Rivendell Guest House 4 Star rated in Swanage, Dorset, with nine bedrooms, all en suite, guest lounge with open fire TV, DVD, book and games. Our relaxed and friendly guest house is perfectly situated 5 minutes from the beach, shops and Swanage Steam Railway, we are also within easy reach of the Purbecks and the South West Costal Path and the Dorset coast where you will find superb diving, walking, cycling, climbing, and bird watching opportunities. The Guest House is over looking the beautiful parish church of St Mary the Virgin

Less than 40 minutes away by car or train are the historic towns of Wareham, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth, who will be hosts to the 2012 Olympic sailing, events. The guest house has a Comprehensive fire alarm and emergency lighting throughout and the pressurised water supplied to all rooms is rising main and suitable for drinking. The whole house is centrally heated and has thermostatically controlled radiators in each bedroom: Rivendell is a non-smoking guest house

All of our rooms are en suite with either a bath or power shower or combination of both, with flat screen TV with Freeview. Wireless internet enabled zone, well stocked hospitality tray. All double beds are super king size offering exceptional comfort
