Grovefield Manor Hotel, Poole

Accommodation Description:
For people who wish an experience of ‘Old England’ coupled with the comforts and expectations of the 21st century where personal service is important, Grovefield Manor is the ideal location for your stay or your function. The bijoux accommodation, located three minutes from the golden sandy beaches, opened in April 2008 following 12 months of refurbishment. Relaxation, swimming, walking, dining or exploring can all be undertaken everyday within close proximity of Grovefield Manor

The Manor's owners Keith and Barbara Baldock, have refurbished the manor into exclusive, bijoux accommodation which opened in April 2008 and all new and returning guests are made most welcome. Grovefield Manor has been providing accommodation to guests for over 60 years and is situated opposite Branksome Dene Chine. A three minute walk through the Chine brings you to the award winning golden, sandy beach

Turning left, within 20 minutes you arrive in Bournemouth, turning right you quickly reach Sandbanks. There is a bus stop outside the Manor going directly to the shopping and entertainment of Bournemouth or the historic town of Swanage. Our local pub is a very short walk away and the trendy villages of Canford Cliffs and Westbourne are both close by

From Sandbanks, there is a ferry crossing to Studland, proceeding then to Corfe Castle and Swanage and perhaps a ride on the steam railway makes an enjoyable day out. For walkers, The New Forest or coastal paths of the Purbecks are easily accessible. If you like boat trips, Brownsea Island with the red squirrels is a short boat trip from Poole Quay or Sandbanks

Compton Acres, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Wimborne Market, Christchurch Priory and Tower Park Leisure complex and often cited by guests as well worth a visit. For golfers, Parkstone, Ferndown and Isle of Purbeck courses are very popular. Annually Bournemouth hosts an excellent Air Show and during the season, Poole has a stunning firework display every Thursday

Each Tuesday Poole holds a car/motor bike/scooter gathering and owners are very proud to show off their models. After a hearty breakfast the day is yours to enjoy and each can be totally different if you wish. There is so much to do and see in Dorset
