The village is convenient for Hamsterley Forest, Beamish, Durham city, the North Yorkshire Dales and cyclists on the Waleny to Wear (W2W) route

We are only 45 minutes from Newcastle and the Metro Centre. Other nearby attractions include Teesdale and Barnard Castle. Guests have use of the large residents? lounge which has an open fire, TV, video and DVD, together with a large selection of books to choose from

We also have spacious and secure storage available for cycles (push and motor!) together with washing, drying and workshop facilities. The pub is only a short walk away and offers a full menu every day. All rooms are ensuite

Walkers and cyclists and motorcyclists are welcome.
