Piercebridge is an attractive village, located some six miles west of Darlington, with its splendid village green and well-known local pubs, it also forms part of the walkers' paradise - the Teesdale Way. Piercebridge provides an excellent base from which the outdoor enthusiast and countryside lover can explore Darlington and its surrounding attractions. Holme House is just outside the picturesque village of Piercebrdge, famous for its roman remains and beautiful stretch of the River Tees

There are many excellent traditional pubs in nearby villages which serve good food. We are 6 miles from Darlington and about 15 minutes from the ancient cobbled market towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond. A convenient stepping stone to the famous Dales

Durham Tees Valley|Air|15|Take A67 signed Darlington. At first roundabout turn left onto A66. At second roundabout turn right onto A67 (signed Barnard Castle). Turn left to Piercebridge onto B6275. On leaving the village, after a sharp right hand corner, turn left by our 'Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast' sign. Drive down a farm road, over 2 cattle grids and turn right through a white gate, down a gravel drive to a cream-coloured house, Darlington|Train|6|Take A67 out of Darlington (signed Barnard Castle). Turn left on B6275 into Piercebridge. On leaving the village, after sharp right hand corner, turn left by our 'Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast' sign. Drive up farm road, over 2 cattle grids, turn right through white gate down gravel drive to cream-coloured house. A1|Road|4|Exit A1 at junction 56 and take B6275 to Piercebridge. On the approach to the village, turn right at the 'Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast' sign (opposite angular warning sign on left) and drive up farm road, over 2 cattle grids. Turn right through the white gate, down gravel drive to cream-coloured house.
