Whilst the tradition of friendly service, good value and a warm welcome remains, the structure is now vastly different and Ramside is proud to be the North-East's largest privately-owned hotel, with golf course. Located close to the A1, we are the ideal location for visitiors to Durham Cathedral, Beamish Open Air Museum and the Wear Valley countryside. Newcastle, with its excellent shopping centre, is reached within 20 minutes and Durham is 5 minutes from the hotel.
