  Bateman's
We had the pleasure of visiting here, and our information is based on our personal experiences We took some photos of this location that we'd like to share with you

Bateman's Bateman's is a Jacobean manor that served as the home of writer Rudyard Kipling from 1902-1936. It is a comfortably furnished manor house, packed with Kipling memorabilia.
Garden: Rose, Mulberry, Herb and Wild Gardens surround this Jacobean manor house. The house is on the River Dudwell, which flows through the wild garden, where there is a working historic corn mill.

  Charleston

A glimpse into the fascinating (and occassionally scandalous) history of the Bloomsbury Group of artists and writers. Charleston was the country meeting place of the Bloomsbury Group. The interiors were decorated by artists Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell with murals, painted furniture, ceramics, and textiles, making the whole a unique statement of their artistic beliefs.

The home of the Trevor family for over 300 years, Glynde Place is a magnificent Elizabethan manor looking over the Sussex Downs. The interior features a panelled gallery, a collection of Old Master paintings, plus period furniture, silver and china ammassed by family members over the years.
