The nearest station is Hassocks on the Brighton to London line. The South Downs link for cycling and walking is minutes away and there is much scope for walking

From the A23 coming South take the A272 West to COWFOLD. At Cowfold turn left at mini roundabout onto A281 . Follow A281 about 5 miles South through Shermanbury to Henfield. Go straight on at roundabout mand Just before first lights with White Hart pub on left turn right uo Church Street. First right into Martyn Close. About 80 yds on right look for gap in hedge and a low sign THE LAURELS-turn up the drive about 30yds and No1 The Laurels is the first house of four on your right-you can park in front of the house or just before the house in the layby on the right.From Brighton head for Woodmancote form the A23 going North or from Worthing head for Upper Beeding off the A27
