La Mer is within walking distance of the town centre, offering the usual range of high street stores, cinemas, theatres, cafes,wine bars and restauraunts. All bedrooms are attractively decorated. A continental or a full english breakfast is served in our cosy dining room

Eastbourne has good rail links to London and the South East of England and offers excellent bus services in and around Eastbourne and further along the coast.Your host will be Mr Lee Finch.

Welcome to La Mer Guest House and to Eastbourne, the Sunshine capital of the South! La Mer is a pleasant Edwardian building in Marine Road situated just off the Royal Parade and within 100 yards of the sea and Eastbourne's elegant promenade which stretches for 3 miles along the coast. Just a short walk away is Eastbourne Pier and the bandstand, where they have afternoon concerts and sometimes dancing, along with more recently tribute concerts from the Beatles, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones to Abba to name a few.Further along the promenade is the Wish Tower which has a super view of the coastline from their restaurant where you can have a drink and a bite to eat

Just one mile along the coast is the new Sovereign Harbour Village which has a variety of shops and retaurants and is well worth a visit if only to look at the yachts! La Mer is a family run Guest House managed by Lee, James and their mother Eileen, who will be sure to give you a warm welcome. We look forward to seeing you in Eastbourne soon.
