Our name reflects the history of the locality. Forest Row is on the edge of Royal Ashdown - Royal because, from the 1200s, it was the Kings deer and wild boar hunting park. Forest Row was where the King had his hunting lodges

The Roebuck is a charming 17th century country house. The Antlers Restaurant offers an extensive and interesting menu, as well as an extensive wine list. The Beagle Bar serves good bar food and a range of beers

Whats so special about us?The Roebuck has a beautiful garden and a patio area where barbecues are held in the summer. There are 30 bedrooms, all well equipped, and ground floor rooms are available. Children will be delighted to learn that Ashdown Forest is home to Winnie the Pooh
