The DeSpenser Tomb,
built by Elizabeth Montacute for her husband High le DeSpenser
(d.1349).
Detail from the Founders
Chantry. This tomb was built for Robert FitzHamon, 2nd
cousin of William the Conqueror. FitzHamon founded Tewkesbury
Abbey in 1102. He died in 1107, but the tomb was built in 1397,
and shows some superb fan vaulting.
The Beachamp Chantry
(also called the Warwick Chantry). Built in 1430 by Isabella,
Countess of Warwick, for herself and her two husbands, the Earl
of Worcester, and the Earl of Warwick. At the time, it was considered

in the carving is splendid
