This 14th century preaching cross stands on the village green.
The Ashleworth preaching cross depicts 4 Biblical scenes. The cross was hidden for many years in the chimney of a house on the green, before it was rediscovered and replaced here.

The north wall of the church features this lovely Saxon herringbone stonework.
Here you can make out the Tudor rose and the royal lion still used in the royal coat of arms today. The 'E' may represent Elizabeth I or Edward VI.
