Photos of Bledington, Gloucestershire, St Leonard Church
St Leonard's is worth a visit for the fascinating series of
carved medieval corbel heads. The village itself is quite lovely, with a very
wide green and quiet inn.

St Leonards from the churchyard
The north wall of the nave, with its fine Perpendicular windows
The chief interest at Bledington is provided by a series of carved corbel heads that run around the entire west end of the church.
Following the corbel heads from the south porch around the tower we can see a wonderful variety of period headgear.
