Tucked away up a narrow lane on the outskirts of the village; overlooking open farmland and woods; the White Hart Inn is an ideal venue for a wholesome lunch or delicious evening meal and equally suited for that special occasion such as birthdays or anniversaries.
The White Hart was built in 1818 next door to the village blacksmith and close to the coach route from Newbury to Basingstoke. The countryside around Charter Alley is ideal for walkers and cyclists who wish to explore the woods; footpaths and country lanes. Nearby is the National Trust stately home The Vyne as well as many other historic attractions and beauty spots.
We currently have 9 letting rooms available all have en-suite shower & wc; central heating; TV & tea & coffee facilities. Broadband internet access is available in all rooms.
