The Mill Arms, Mottisfont

Accommodation Description:
You have discovered your perfect country escape! Log fires, stone floors, rustic tables, superb food, lots of real ale, fine wines and gardens overlooking fields. Comfy feather duvets, homemade biscuits, flat screen TV, hairdryers and lots of parking. Easy rail & car access to Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, Romsey, Portsmouth, IOW & Bournemouth

Fishing on the doorstep & A1 walks (for the dog too). Mottisfont Abbey, Romsey Rapids & Paultons Park all 5-15 mins drive away. See you soon!

The Mill Arms is a rural retreat but incredibly accessible by both rail (Mottisfont & Dunbridge station across the road) as well as by road to so many different activities/cities/destinations - be they cultural - Mottisfont Abbey & the cathedrals of Romsey, Winchester & Salisbury, travel - ferry/aiport (IOW/France/Spain/Cruise liners) (Southampton or Bournemouth airports), family orientated -theme park (including Paultons Park and various farm activity centres)/swimming pools, sports - fishing river or lake/golf or just a quiet country walk with your dog. Most of these venues are within 5-40minutes car travel time. The New Forest and the Dorset beaches are only 40 mins away

We really are in the middle of it all! The Mill is relaxed, friendly and personal. The menus are all on chalk boards, thereby taking advantage of the seasons, the wine list extensive and real ales constantly changing. There are lots of options at The Mill Arms - for example perhaps you enjoy a Gin and tonic - well we always have at least 4 Gins to choose from - Malt Whiskey - at least 4 too etc etc

Dine al fresco in our 3 tiered gardens overlooking open fields or enjoy open fires in the winter. If you have any food intolerances or allergies just let us know - everything is made fresh and on site so we know what goes in to every dish and practically all dishes can be altered to suit your personal preferences or needs. Perhaps you are coming for a celebratory get away and particularly want a certain dish/meal to enjoy when you get here - give us 24-48 hours notice and we will ensure that we have it here for you

It is that simple!!! Combining a party with accommodation for everyone? - our skittle alley can cater for up to 100 people. Please note that there may be some noise from skittles parties or functions, in the bedrooms - however all skittle play must end by 10.30pm
