You will find a warm welcome at Highfield where our aim is to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. We are situated in a peaceful location with 7 acres of pretty gardens and woodlands, which guests are encouraged to use. Michelin guide 2008 recommended

Our standards are high, all bedrooms are en-suite and fully equipped, the comfortable guest lounge is available at all times with a log fire for chilly. Breakfast offers a good range of dishes, with most produce being sourced locally. Delicious home cooked dinners are available on request

The Test Valley and surrounding area make a marvelous centre from which to explore. The small market town of Romsey with its Norman Abbey, and Broadlands home of the late Lord Louis Mountbatten can be reached in 10 minutes drive. The boundary of the New Forest National Park lies in easy reach, where bike hire, horse riding, lovely walks and unspoilt villages make for a memorable visit

The Cathedral Cities of Salisbury and Winchester are an easy 30 minutes drive, and the Historic City of Bath can be reached in approximately 1 hour by rail. We are walking distance of the pretty Dunwood Manor Golf Club which welcomes visitors. Fishing on the River Test carrier streams can usually be arranged during the season
