The property boasts many Victorian features including an impressive stained glass window and there are eight tastefully refurbished rooms each named after local forest towns and villages.It has a restaurant and two bars serving a range of cask ales with traditional pub games including pool and darts and a cosy log fire for those cold winter evenings.
There is also a large; tree-lined beer garden including an aviary and an outdoor boules court plus children's play area.
The hotel is situated in the centre of the village; only a short walk from the open forest where visitors can cycle; walk or enjoy horse riding. It is also close to a number of attractions in the area; most of which are only 20 minutes drive away; including The New Forest Museum; National Motor Museum and Palace House; home of the Montague family at Beaulieu; and Exbury Gardens.
Within a short distance there are excellent cliff top walks with magnificent views of the Needles and Isle of Wight. Southampton; Bournemouth and Winchester are less than an hour away.
The Forest Heath Hotel is pet friendly and a £5 per night charge for pets is applicable and is payable upon arrival.
