The Dolphin Hotel, Southampton

Accommodation Description:
Dating from 1550, the Dolphin is well located in the heart of the old town, a short walk from the shops and the Isle of Wight and Hythe ferry. The hotel offers an eclectic mix of old and new. Rococo ceilings look down on a modern cocktail bar, and English oak panelling sits next to a stainless steel and glass bar inspired by the grille of a Bentley GT

Victorian cornicing meets with flat-screen TVs and contemporary art, and Edwardian plumbing joins with Philippe Starck taps and Italian glass sinks. The hotel has a bistro-style restaurant, a 24-hour lounge bar, function rooms, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, a massage therapy treatment suite, a limousine-hire company and a car park.

From: £50.00
