The Garden House Hotel is a little jewel nestling at the heart of the village of St Margarets at Cliffe, near Dover.
Both the hotel and the extremely successful Bayleaf restaurant are family-run and, as such, everyone prides themselves on going the extra mile to ensure that guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.Housed in a traditional Kentish weather boarded building, parts of which date back to Elizabethan times, the hotel has a stylish contemporary feel without compromising the charm of this delightful historic building.
In winter guests can warm themselves by our roaring log fire whilst in summer they are welcome to enjoy the sun in our pretty walled garden.
Rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences and there is ample off-road parking at the hotel.The hotel is ideally placed overlooking the beautiful Norman church of St Margaret of Antioch.
It is just a short walk from the breathtaking White Cliffs yet less than 10 minutes by car from the bustling Port of Dover with its car ferries to France and its Cruise ship terminal.
For golfing enthusiasts there are four challenging courses nearby.
There is also a wealth of history to explore in the area including the castles of Dover, Deal & Walmer and the delightful Cathedral city of Canterbury.
