The Glenbarrie is a clean, tidy, friendly, cheerful, family run guesthouse. We have a small bar, cosy guest lounge with an open fire for all to enjoy. Breakfast is of the highest standard - you shouldnt need to eat again unil at least 3pm. Situated one minute from Central Pier, close to the town with a wealth of fashion shops, clubs, pubs and tourist attractions.
Enjoying an excellent central location in Blackpool, the Glenbarrie makes a good base when visiting Blackpool. The seafront is less than 5 minutes away. Once there you can stroll the promenade to Pleasure Beach or the other piers and Blackpool Tower. The town centre with its shops, bars & restaurants is easily accessible as is the Winter Gardens theatre. The Glenbarrie is licensed and give offer late keys and sell V.I.P. wristbands ?5 which give tremendous savings to those that are pubbing and clubbing - including free entry to Sanuk and the Syndicate as well as dozens more.
There is limited on-street parking backed up by a car park 100 meters away.
We are available for group bookings, we sleep 28. You can book the entire place for parites, weddings etc. we will lay on buffets if requested.
PLEASE NOTE: Check In is from 12 noon to 22:00. Check out is by 10:00. We are a no smoking accommodation. Regrettably we cannot accept pets. Children are welcome.
