Built by William Hesketh Lever for his soap factory workers and named after his famous Sunlight Soap.It was a temperance Hotel until 1903 were the vote was cast and the sale of alcohol was allowed, it still retains many of its original features, and if you wish to see downstairs with the old servants quarters we will be only too happy to obligeThe village itself has many tourist attractions including The Lady Lever Art Gallery and Port Sunlight Vision and the Gladstone Theatre Within easy reach of the cities of Chester (30 mins) or Liverpool (20mins) The Bridge Inn is an ideal base for exploring these famous cities and the north Wales countryside.Trains- Port Sunlight Station Liverpool Lime Street.
