We are located in a scenic area just a short walk from the city centre. Our friendly and helpful staff and excellent transport links make us a perfect base from which to explore all that Liverpool has to offer Originally known as The Nightingale House the Lodge played an essential role in Britains medical advances during the 18th century and the historic plaque in front of the building commemorates Florence Nightingales work. Other publicly listed features include the picturesque stained glass window at the top of the main staircase which overlooks our reception area where you can find Florence Nightingales own original bookcase from her time in the city.
