An ongoing refurbishment of the rooms has been taking place since 2005 and many have now been taken to a very respectable 3 star superior finish In and around the area there are many local attractions such as Althorp House, the former home and final resting place of Diana, Princess of Wales. Also ideally located for Silverstone, home of British Motor Racing, although book early for the Grand Prix and the Balloon festival that takes place each summer. Billing Aquadrome an extensive and popular area of water just 3 miles south east of Northampton, is home to powerboats, jetskis, fishing and bird watching A pleasure park, amusement centre, swimming pool and fast food outlets complete the picture.
