A friendly country Inn with a reputation for food, drink and en-suite bedrooms. The Black Bull Inn is located in the village of lowick just 10 miles from the historic town of Berwick upon Tweed. Ideally located for walkers of 'The St.Cuthbert's Way' between Wooler and Holy Island as well as just off the busy A1 trunk road for persons commuting between Newcastle and Edinburgh. Berwick is an historic market town set with in its own town walls. Berwick itself has a number of restaurants and pubs for entertainment. The pub still retains a great deal of old charms and the original beams are visible in the snug bar where we also have the benefit of a real open fire. The spacious dining room with attached conservatory leads off the snug bar and offers a wide range of home cooked food prepared from as much local produce as available.
