Ashcroft B&B Guest House is an elegant Victorian Vicarage with spacious guest rooms and high ceilings standing in 2 acres of award winning gardens on the southern edge of Haltwhistle in Northumberland. There is plenty of private parking. We are 5 Star Rated and have an Enjoy England Gold Award

We are continuously making improvements whilst retaining the original Victorian architectural features. A hearty English breakfast is included in the price with vegetarian options available on request.

Secure undercover storage for cycles & Motor Cycles. We have nine first floor en-suite guest rooms all with power shower and some also with a bath, along with the usual refinements. Ashcroft can offer Single, Double, Twin or Triple rooms

We have a family suite available and for special occasions, we have a room with a four poster bed and roof terrace. After a busy day, relax in our visitors lounge with its marble fireplace, original wooden floor and plenty of comfy settees, armchairs and a large flat screen LCD TV. Freeview is available from 22nd July 2009

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for your convenience. Situated on the southern edge of Haltwhistle, we are within easy walking distance of Pubs, Restaurants, Shops and Bus & Train stops. Our wonderful Apartment is available on a weekly self catering basis from 1st November to 31st March every year

Beautiful large and very spacious breakfast room with large windows facing south over terraced gardens and views of the moors above the South Tyne river valley. Watch the birds, including Woodpeckers, feeding on the feeders outside the windows. Oak floor and fantastic stone feature fireplace. Large solid wood tables and comfortable padded chairs. High quality breakfast using local produce wherever possible. Something for all tastes.
