Glendale Mews Cottage is situated in the estate grounds of Glendale; an early nineteenth century farm house on the edge of Northumbria National Park, just outside of Haltwhistle.

Glendale Mews is situated in the estate grounds of Glendale; an early nineteenth century farm house on the edge of Northumbria National Park, just outside of Haltwhistle. It is easily found on the B6318 (North Road) known locally as the Military Road as it was constructed around 1750 by General Wade during the Jacobite Rebellion. The Military Road closely follows the route of an earlier Roman road, the original course of which runs directly through the Glendale Estate

Glendale Mews is a converted stable on the main courtyard, with ample space for car parking, horse box and dry cycle storage. Ideally placed for easy access to local Roman remains, walking Hadrian's Wall, visiting the Lake District and Scotland or shopping in Gateshead's Metro Centre and Newcastle. Glendale Leisure, Glendale's private, heated indoor swimming pool is open every day except Christmas Day and is available for private hire; we hope you enjoy your swim at Glendale

Additionally, if you have a special event, we can assist you plan and offer the use of our exclusive party lodge and children's play area.
